PixelGum Merchandise? YES!
2019 is going to be the year we’re going to make merchandise available to all PixelGum fans! You may have already noticed we’d been experimenting with different baseball cap designs, and we’ve been reaching out to various suppliers about quality merchandise that any pixel would feel proud to own.
But what if you can’t afford to buy it? Don’t worry! We’ve been hinting at collecting Pixel Credits for some time, and you’ll be happy to learn that you can collect Pixel Credits in our stream chat to trade them in for special collectable items that we’ll send to you!
We’re so excited and we can’t wait to launch the full range later on this year. π
Animal Crossing 2019
Of course we’re super excited for Animal Crossing to come out on Switch, and the topic is touched upon essentially every stream as we try to suss out what Nintendo has got planned for us. With the recent news of development for a particularly high profile title being canned and restarted, we’re nervous about whether this will also be the case for Animal Crossing.
It’s a delicate balance between managing our impatience for this much needed and beloved simulation game, with an appreciation that one of the things that makes Animal Crossing so wonderful to play is the attention and care that goes into the localisation of the title.
We’re hoping that with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and all of the open world developments that were made on that, showcasing the Nintendo Switch’s ability to handle such a wonderfully complex world, that this gives us an insight into some of the wonderful developments Nintendo will hopefully be exploring to add into Animal Crossing: Switch.
